I would hate to have Patricia Heaton as a mom…
December 20th, 2006 under Unadmirable People. [ Comments: none ]

Patricia Heaton regularly checks her son’s personal email and phone text messages to find out what’s going on in his life. The 48-year-old star has four sons with husband David Hunt – Sam, 13, John, 10, Joseph, nine and Dan, eight. And she insists that all parents should secretly check their children’s messages to try and protect them from any harm. When asked if her oldest son was interested in girls yet, she says, "I think he is and the only way I know this is because I check his emails. When he goes to sleep I get his cell phone and check his text messages." The actress insists checking their messages is the only way she can find out what is going on in their lives. She says, "They don’t talk to me about anything. They’re boys. ‘How was school?’ ‘Fine.’ ‘What happened?’ ‘Nothing.’" She adds jokingly, "And then a parent will call and say, ‘Did you hear about the stabbing on the playground?’ And I’m like, ‘Why didn’t you tell me about the stabbing on the playground?’"

I can understand if you think your kid as at risk to read their E-Mails and text messages, but just because you will do more damge to your kid than help them. Kids know when you invade their privacy and that will cause them to be more private towards you. She needs to stay out of their business and get a life…hopefully not another TV show or an Albertson’s commercial.

Michael Jackson using Reality TV to sell Neverland?
December 20th, 2006 under The Jacksons. [ Comments: none ]

Cash-strapped Jacko dealing with TV show to sell ranch Michael Jackson’s career is in ruins – and so is his world-famous Neverland Ranch, as these startling photos show. The 2,700-acre sprawling estate, once perfectly maintained, has gone from magical fantasyland to ghost town since the singer deserted the California property in July 2005. Desperate for cash, Jackson is hoping to sell the ranch – with its abandoned zoo and amusement park – by featuring it on a cable television show, The ENQUIRER has learned. The embattled star, who left the country after being cleared of child molestation charges, wants to unload the property for $50 million and is negotiating with the Bravo network to sell it on their reality show, "Million Dollar Listing: Hollywood." "Michael needs cash – and fast," a source told The ENQUIRER. "By making the show the exclusive agent for the Neverland sale, he can get some up-front money real quick. "The show will have exclusive access to Neverland and can do numerous segments about selling one of the most famous residences in the world. "Michael is in a bad way. He is running out of funds and appears distraught. He showed up at a meeting last week with his pants inside out! He’s a mess."

Hundreds walk out of a Robbie Williams’ show down under?
December 20th, 2006 under Concerts/Tours. [ Comments: none ]

Photorazzi Robbie Williams has reportedly disappointed fans on the Australian leg of his world tour. According to the Daily Mirror, hundreds of fans left the ‘Millennium’ singer’s concert at Melbourne before the end, with the show later receiving unflattering reviews. The paper quotes one concert-goer as commenting: "He failed to deliver or even resemble the energy and vibrance of past visits. He should hold true to his promise to retire." The event was staged at Melbourne’s Telstra Dome with a crowd of 64,000. Last week, Williams was given a fine for smoking on stage in Australia.

Wow, he must’ve been really bad. But to compare him to him past shows he has done, I think is sad. If you are a fan, you are fan! I mean how many times have you gone to your favorite artist and they only play new stuff or slow it down, do you walk out? You just don’t see them again!

Actress Angelina Jolie has hinted that she and partner Brad Pitt could be planning to give up their movie careers. Jolie, who has two adopted children, Maddox, five, and Zahara, 22 months, plus a biological baby with Pitt, six-month-old Shiloh, talked of her plans on US TV. The star, 31, said: ‘I’m hoping that as we get older, maybe we’ll do less films.’ Jolie, who recently filmed A Mighty Heart with Pitt in India, said she wants her children to have a normal upbringing. She added: ‘We don’t raise our kids in Hollywood. They don’t go to sets everyday. They travel the world and we do many, many other things.’ She also spoke of the six-year battle against ovarian cancer of her mother, Marcheline Bertrand, 56. Jolie said: ‘She’s a remarkable woman. She’s very strong. Her spirit is unbroken.’

Is it a normal upbringing for the kids to travel around the world? Granted I have to admit that would be an amazing upbringing!
