The 24-year-old singer delivered her second son, Sutton Pierce Federline, by Caesarean section last Tuesday (12.09.06) but is already keen to get her athletic figure back. A friend said: "She wants to dance her way back to shape by hiring a studio. It’s more fun than the gym." Britney has always been a keen dancer and is known for the gruelling dance routines included in her music videos and live tours. Sutton Pierce weighed in at 6lb 11oz and Britney was said to have followed a careful diet in the last few months of her pregnancy. During the early stages, Britney was said to have indulged her cravings for junk food including Cheetos crisps, fried chicken, and even son Sean Preston’s baby biscuits.

Brad and Angelina doing another movie together
September 22nd, 2006 under Angelina Jolie, Brangelina. [ Comments: none ]

THE horrendous beheading by terrorist jihadis of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl while he was on assignment in Pakistan four years ago will be commemorated in a film to be made in India starring Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Last-minute arrangements for shooting the film adaptation of A Mighty Heart by Pearl’s widow, Marianne Pearl, are being made in the city of Pune with the Hollywood couple expected to arrive there on October 1. Pune is reported to have been selected because of the area’s similarity to the country between Pakistan’s two major cities, Islamabad and Karachi, where the drama surrounding the abduction and murder of Pearl took place. Pitt and Jolie are expected to spend at least a month in Pune, and local hotels have been booked out for the production crew that will accompany them. The film will reportedly also star Bollywood actors Irrfan Khan and Aly Khan. According to local hoteliers in Pune, security officials have been to the city to ensure the safety of the glamorous Hollywood couple. Given the subject of the film, it seems likely to incur the hostility of the usual suspects who support the jihadi cause. Previously, Pakistan has refused to allow filming, and there can be no doubt security concerns played a part in considerations, given the strength of jihadi fervour in the area.

This has Oscar written all over it.

CTV airs the wrong Grey’s Anatomy episode
September 22nd, 2006 under Shonda Rhimes. [ Comments: none ]

Angry "Grey’s Anatomy" fans lashed out at CTV on Friday after the network inadvertently aired the second episode of the season rather than the season premiere. One blogger said: "Can I just say that CTV is a crappy irresponsible network?" "Yes, I know errors happen, but this is one of the biggest shows on TV these days," wrote carmen16. "(I’m) just not impressed." "Stupid people who don’t know how to push buttons right. I am most seriously displeased," posted another who identified herself as "Lynda." Others who hadn’t yet seen Episode 2 were concerned CTV’s mistake would ruin it for them. "Now that I know that Canada got next week’s episode, I’m going to be frightened of spoilers constantly until next week!" wrote "jasminelily." CTV spokesman Mike Cosentino said the network took in its regular satellite feed of the show thinking that it was the season premiere. "We were fed an incorrect show," he said Friday. "We are absolutely committed to delivering Episode 1 in its entirety to viewers. …. We recognize the scope of this situation." CTV now plans to air the premiere in its entirety next Thursday (Sept. 28) at 8 p.m. ET. The error came as "Grey’s Anatomy" made its much-anticipated debut in its new Thursday night timeslot. On CTV, the show airs at 8 p.m. ET, while the U.S. version airs at 9 p.m. on ABC. That means viewers could have watched Episode 2 on CTV and then tuned in to the season premiere on ABC. After a cliffhanger finale, "Grey’s Anatomy" fans had waited all summer to see what would happen on the show, which follows the tumultuous lives of a group of Seattle doctors. Consentino called the CTV glitch a "good news/bad news scenario." "The bad news is viewers missed Episode 1 and we’re working on the right solution to remedy that, and the good news is Episode 2 is fantastic."

Jam!

I would’ve been beyond livid too. I can’t even imagine what their switchboard looked like last night.
