Dancing with the Stars' Brooke Burke was on Valentine in the Morning and she told him that Misty May-Treanor is definitely out of DWTS because of a torn Achilles tendon. ABC and the producers of DWTS released this statement on Saturday:
"Dancing with the Stars" contestant Misty May-Treanor sustained an injury on Friday and received immediate medical attention. Despite previous reports, she did not break her ankle. She is resting comfortably at home. Doctors will reevaluate her condition on Monday and determine the outcome of her participation on the show.
But Brooke contradicted what they said and added that Misty and Maksin Chmerkovskiy are taping a package for show tonight. She added that Edyta and Maksim might do a dance in their place, but nothing is confirmed. While the NY Post is saying that Kim Kardashian will be back to fill the hole left by Misty.
Brooke Burke also let it leak that her Dancing with the Stars partner Derek Hough is living with his cougar Shannon Elizabeth.
Brooke Burke also blogged (see below) that her partner Derek Hough almost took himself of the competition literally. Now that we know he is OK, I have to admit that it actually sounds hysterical how it happened.
I hope the Judges deduct from her score tonight because of her big mouth. I won't miss her when she is gone because I can't remember she is on the show in the first place.
UPDATE: Misty May-Treanor is out of the competition with torn Achilles tendon and will be going in to surgery this week to repair it. Get well soon.
She was not replaced by Kim Kardashian!!! And when it comes to big mouth she sadly scored the highest score of the night. I just don’t get she is as exciting as Samantha Harris, actually Samantha has more life than her when she hosts.
