Brad Pitt is part of another split rumor today, but this time it is not Angelina Jolie but his BFf George Clooney according to OK!.
George said: "We both badly want a particular role and neither is backing down. It's sort of become an intense competition between us now and it just keeps escalating."
Both George and Brad are keen to play the role of Henry Higgins in the upcoming remake of My Fair Lady.
George added: "For now we're both so angry we're not even in contact any more."
I would rather Brangelina be over than Clitt! Clitt can't split!
I am sure this is just Clooney joking around, but it was a fun write so why not!

Why is it that everytime George says something about Brad, the media always thinks he is kidding. Brad is a jerk and thinks he is entitled to everything.
why? they’re DUDES!!! that will be epic miscasting
the only actors that have a chance with that character are the british, Hugh Grant or Colin or the gay guy from Project Runaway, now that will be awesome.
So who’s Eliza? isn’t it supposed to be Kira knightly or something? Clooney is definatly more Henry Higgins Material than Pitt, Pitt is too pretty for that role. But Pitt paired with Kira Knightly might make for a hot new couple, I must say!
I’ve read from several different sources that it was to be Keira Knightley and Daniel Day Lewis as possible leads and that Ms. Knightley hadn’t officially been offered the part yet (although she wants it supposedly and I hope she gets it).

And i just read two days ago where Brad is Bi-Sexual same as Angie Jo….was lookin forward to finding hints in articles about Bradee and Georgee….Bradley wouldn’t make a good Henry Higgins tho, he’s old enough, nearly 45, however, even with bags under his eyes and tons of wrinkles and a growingly bulbous nose, he has boyish looks, not manly…go for it Georgeeee

Pitt will never find another man like Clooney. So the story is probably made up.
The role requires an actor who can convince us with not only a proper accent, but one who assumes the authority of an upper class british gentleman. Quite a challenge!
