Some guy seriously didn't shave his beard for two years waiting for Metallica to release their latest album. After waiting two years one of the guys from the band shaved off his 12" beard the day the new album was realeased accoridng to NME.
Dude, it is Metallica they have not been worth it since the whole Napster crap.
CORRECTIOON! they shaved it the night they webstreamed their new album online and all across amaerica..pretty much one week BEFORE the album came out. and they ARE important!! they are one of the greatest bands in the world. James has the voice of a god. if u dont like metallica then EFF off!!
Are you kidding! I think he was waaaay sexier with the enormous beard. I’d hit it, for sure. Also, James is a sexy mofo no matter what he sings. Read me the phone book baby!

Now, for the rest of you lot - it’s a beard, for God’s sake! He didn’t go on a hunger strike or some other whacked out, life altering obsessive quest. Regardless of whether or not you like Metallica, show some respect for a guy willing to support something he enjoys.

metallica is amazing. being in a band you learn to appreciate all types of music. i use to not like “heavy” music, but now, i have such an appreciation for all music, including metallica. HELLO they are amazing!!!!!! end of story.
