You have got to be kidding me! Billy Bob as Freddy is ridiculous. There’s only one person that can play Freddy and that’s Robert Englund. Enough said!

I have to admit i thought the same thing at first. But after thinking about it, Billy is an awesome actor and I look forward to see what he does w/the character. Robert England even thinks he’s a great choice. Lets give the guy a chance. When we heard Heath “brokeback” Ledger was going to play the joker everyone hated. Look what he did, turned the joker dark and completely psychotic. But whatever happend to the prequel I heard about?
i thought england aleady signed on for it.

Thers only one freddy but, i bet who ever they get they will do good you’ll see, just like everyone thought that heath couldnt be joker, you’ll see.

I’m a die hard to the bone freddy fan. If Billy Bob has Roberts blessing to put the glove and snap brim hat on than Im ok with it too. Give em hell Billy Bob.

Let’s just wait and see how this turns out. Give Billy Bob some credit. He is a terrific actor and all around creative human being. If you were offered a chance to don the hat and striped sweater, and bust out the blades, you know you’d f’n jump at it… most people would. So why would anyone hate Billy Bob for taking the part? Be happy for him. He must be both a fan and flattered if he took the part… and certainly he knows he’s got large shoes to fill given how this was Robert Englund’s signature role and how amazing Robert was. So let’s see what happens… ’cause its not Billy we should even be worried ’bout… its f’n Michael Bay… cripes…

Just shoot me now… better still, shoot Michael Bay before he has a chance to piss on another classic. Are he and Rob Zombie having a contest to see who can lay the biggest terd?
