So remember that weird interview from 2 years ago with John Stamos in Australia where everyone thought he was drunk? Well turns out he was according to what he told Us Weekly.
“I’ll be honest: When I went on that morning show, I was drunk,” he tells the Advocate in a new interview. “Yes, I was on sleeping pills and I was jet-lagged, but I was also just plastered. And I never said I wasn’t, but that whole Warner Bros. publicity machine got involved and said, ‘Just say he was jet-lagged.’”
Added Stamos, “I said, ‘No, tell ‘em the truth! I was f****** drunk in Australia. Big deal.’”
Part of me is like way to go John for finally fessing up to the truth and then the other part of me is like why is the reporter asking him about an interview from two years ago? Granted it was a memorable interview, but it was so long ago.

John Stamos actually told this to The Advocate. US Weekly, like many other outlets, was just reporting what he had told Advocate. If you read the quote, it actually says that. And the reporter didn’t actually ask him about the interview.
