[ # ] Adam Carolla’s radio show was cancelled

Adam Carolla's morning radio show was cancelled and Friday will be their last day. According to The Orange County Register LA's 97.1 is changing formats on Monday and they will be going from all-talk to Top 40.

What a stupid mistake, we have enough Top 40 stations, what we don't have enough of are are non-political talk radio shows that makes us laugh. Plus I love listening to The Adam Carolla Show, he so funny and different than all those other morning show hosts. I have to admit I wasn't the biggest Adam Carolla fan, but then he did with Dancing with the Stars and I became a fan of his and the show. Hopefully he will be back on the radio real soon because we need more people like him on the dial!

We used to get free FM in AZ and I loved Frosty, Heidi, and Frank and was upset when they changed the format here. We still get Adam in the morning so I will be bummed that is gone too.

People are expensive and completely expendable. Shows like AC, FH&F take hosts, producers and engineers.
Music formats are cheap. Say goodbye to non-radical right-wing radio. If you can’t stir the masses with stupidity and hate you won’t make money. That’s the only bottom line folks. Money. TV and radio are ad dollar based. Anything and everything done to make fans feel important is merely marketing. Without Ad dollars, talent is out, formats are changed. Done and done.

Maybe he can take his show to Sirius XM. Adam and Howard would be a good one two punch! Then again, aren’t they going bankrupt?

Carolla was good, but LEYKIS was the master. We will miss this duo. I listen overseas at GTMO and when I heard this last nite, it was crushing. LEYKIS 101!!!!!
