Jessica Simpson thinks she was not good enough for the Kennedy Center Honors
December 21st, 2006 under Nick Lachey/Jessica/Ashlee Simpson. [ Comments: 1 ]

Unhappy with her second try at paying tribute to Dolly Parton for the "Kennedy Center Honors," Jessica Simpson has pulled out of the show. Simpson drew unwanted attention earlier this month when she flubbed the words to Parton’s "9 to 5" during a taping of the annual show, grew flustered and fled the stage. Producers gave her a second chance at the song. But after Simpson saw a tape, she requested the second attempt be pulled from the show, which airs Dec. 26 on CBS. "She really wasn’t happy with her performance and she did want it to be perfect for Dolly, who she idolizes," said Cindi Berger, a spokeswoman for Simpson. Besides Parton, the Washington, D.C., tribute honors Andrew Lloyd Webber, Zubin Mehta, Smokey Robinson and Steven Spielberg. Caroline Kennedy is the host. "We appreciate the time and energy Ms. Simpson put into this event and respect the high standards she has for herself and that of the Kennedy Center Honors," said George Stevens Jr., show producer.

You know the producers are saying to the press we respect her high standards, but they are secretly thinking you stupid no talent diva you ruined our show and then we were nice enough to let you do it over again and you pull out anyways…fine it stunk and we have a more time for the real talent…just a guess?

Jessica Simpson’s Blonde Ambition might go straight to DVD?
December 21st, 2006 under Nick Lachey/Jessica/Ashlee Simpson. [ Comments: none ]

Penelope Ann Miller has joined Jessica Simpson in the cast of "Blonde Ambition," a loose remake of the 1988 film "Working Girl." Also cast in the film are Luke Wilson, Andy Dick, Rachael Leigh Cook and Jamie Kennedy. Scott Marshall ("Keeping Up with the Steins") is directing. Miller is playing the conniving boss of Simpson’s character, who is making her way through the corporate world. In the film, the roles were played, respectively, by Sigourney Weaver and Melanie Griffith. Sony Pictures is in talks to distribute the film, though whether it gets a theatrical release or goes straight to DVD has yet to be determined.

Funny part when I read that Penelope Ann Miller was cast as the boss I said to myself this movie is going straight to DVD. Then I read a little further and looks like it might. I just have a feeling this movie is so bad that it is just going to go straight to DVD,  don’t you?

What plastic surgery would and would not Jessica Simpson have done?
December 19th, 2006 under Nick Lachey/Jessica/Ashlee Simpson. [ Comments: none ]

Jessica Simpson wants to have a boob job – if her breasts sag when she gets older. The actress-and-singer, famed for her stunning figure, admits she would have no problem going under the surgeon’s knife if the ageing process started taking its toll on her body. Jessica, 26, told Britain’s More magazine: "If my boobs ended up hanging round my waist, then I’d definitely get them pulled up!" Although she would be willing to have cosmetic surgery on her body, the ‘Dukes of Hazzard’ actress is adamant she would never change her face. She added: "I’d never have anything done to my face. I like it the way it is." Jessica admits she sometimes has days like all women when she is paranoid about her shape and looks. She explained: "I’m proud of my figure, but if I’m having an off day I’ll just throw on a trenchcoat and heels and go out."

Didn’t she get her lips plumped? Isn’t that plastic surgery? I bet the second she needs a facelift she will get one, don’t you?

Former reality show star Simpson asked Mayer to croon with her for the soundtrack to her new movie, “Blonde Ambition,” reports the mag, and he agreed. “Jessica has high hopes for the movie,” an insider told L&S. “They’re still denying they’re even dating. So of course they’re going to deny they’re recording a song together.”

Um, Jessica Simpson can’t remember her, you know, lines on Blonde Ambition?
December 12th, 2006 under Nick Lachey/Jessica/Ashlee Simpson. [ Comments: none ]

Jessica Simpson is flubbing more than just song lyrics. Just days after the former reality show star caused a flap by messing up the lyrics in a Dolly Parton tribute, she’s reportedly having problems with her movie lines. A source on the Shreveport, Louisiana set of “Blonde Ambition” tells Star that Simpson is having trouble with her script lines. “After the seventh take on one shot, the director hid a microphone in her ear so a crew member could feed her lines,” a source told the tab. “Everyone was embarrassed for her, but she laughed it off, saying ‘I’m sorry, everyone. I’m sorry.” Co-star Luke Wilson was sympathetic, reports the source, and “patted [Simpson] on the back and told her it would be okay.”

I guess you can say she is living up to the title of the movie!!!
