June 19th, 2016 under Jim Gaffigan, TV Land

Jim Gaffigan is the father to 5 children in real life and on his sitcom The Jim Gaffigan Show. The sitcom is back on TV Land tonight at 10p, so honor all the dads out there by watching this hilarious show about the comedian and his family.
On tonight’s season premiere, Jim talks to Father Nicholas (Tongayi Chirisa) and he tells Gaffigan about all the things he did before he became a Priest. For example he was a professional Soccer player and a Benetton model, so Jim wants to know why he gave that all up. The Priest explains that he got a calling and he answered that call. Now Jim is trying to figure out what his calling is as he asks his friends (Michael Ian Black and Adam Goldberg) and his wife Jeanne (Ashley Williams) what their calling is. What is his calling? All I will say it is perfect for today.
Then at 10:30p, Jim learns the power of sending a bad Tweet and how fast his friends and family will turn on him. The episode starts out with him jail and then he goes to court representing himself about an awful Tweet he tweeted out about women. But it isn’t only the female Judge who will be out to get him, so will the opposing lawyer (Zachary Quinto), the witnesses like his friends and Raven Symone and his wife. How will he get out of this conundrum? Will the case be dismissed or will the Judge throw the book at him?
I can tell you that this show is hysterical and you might not listen to me. But I think the fact that Jerry Seinfeld, Macaulay Culkin, Alec Baldwin, Carrot Top and Gilbert Gottfried all guest star on the show, speaks louder than words. They don’t come on anyone’s show and the fact they believe in Gaffigan enough to appear on his says it all. And like I said it really is a funny show and we all need that before we start our work weeks.
