Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 went missing just over 2 months ago and it has yet to be found. And even though we don’t know what happened to it yet, that isn’t stopping Rupesh Paul from asking people at Cannes to finance his movie about it. He even went as far as shooting a sizzle reel to get investors interested his project, The Vanishing Act.
According to
Variety, Paul is asking for $3.5 million to make his film that should take about 35 days to shoot with around 200 actors in it. At this point it is unclear if anyone gave him the money he needs. But I am sure whenever CNN’s Jeff Zucker hears about it, he will take out his checkbook to finance it all. This way his news network can air it whenever there is no news about the real missing plane to fill in the dead air. Not trying to be insensitive with those last two words.
Would you play to see a movie about Flight 370 before the plane is actually found?
