The Price is Right asked the contestants how much an iPhone 6 with 16G would cost with a year’s call plan and two of them got the price very wrong. The first contestant guessed $7,500 and Mark, who went next, upped her amount by a dollar. Rachel brought things back to reality by screaming out $850 and she lost out to Dana who went with $930. The actual retail price is $1,969, $1,039 more than the closest guess. That still seems high to me, but not as high as the first two thought it would be.
Drew Carey joked, â€Man, I hope the marketing people at Apple are watching this.†I hope they aren’t because maybe they will think about upping the price to the average person’s conception of it. Which is why I will be sticking with my Android phone from Sprint.
