The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall were visiting Wales today, so chef Owen Hall thought he would make them a nice cake. Actually, he attempted to make the World’s Largest Welsh Cake for the Guniess Book of World Records and the Royals, but it did go as planned. As you can see with the video that People’s Simon Perry shared of part of the 77lbs. creation falling to the ground.
Even though it was a cakestrophe, the chef vowed to bake another one in the future. Hopefully, they will save a piece for Prince Charles when they try to break the record again.
