Queer as Folk is one of my all-time favorite shows. Of all the characters, I really wanted Ted and Emmett to get together. But they did not.
However, I always wondered what they would look like today if they stayed romantically involved.
And now we know. Peter Paige traveled to Arizona to see Scott Lowell, his friend of 26 years who is starring in Proof until November 8th. After the show, they took this photo.
Now, we know they would be sweet together. So much so that I wish Paramount+ would give them a spinoff, showing us what their lives would be like as a middle-aged, happily married couple who are proud of all they did, so LGBTQ+ couples can live much more freely than they did 25 years ago.
