Britain’s AA (like US’s AAA) polled their members and asked them what songs they like to drive to. The #1 song is Meat Loaf’s Bat out of Hell and you know, I agree because that is a great to song to speed to on the highway (to hell). There was one tune that totally has me miffed and it is how did Bridge over Trouble Water by Simon and Garfunkle make the list? That song puts me to sleep, and who needs that when you driving…you might go off a Bridge over Troubled Water?
There were a few songs I love that didn’t make the list like; Billy Joel’s Pressure, Blink 182’s What’s My Age Again, Pink’s So What, Wicked’s Defying Gravity, Dexy Midnight Runner’s Come On Eileen and Sammy Hagar’s I Cant’ Drive 55 just to name a few.
Here is their list of 30 songs that people like to drive to according to AA, look at the list and tell me what other songs you like to put the pedal to the medal to!
