Transplant is a medical drama where the lead doctor is a refugee from Syria. In the third season, he became a Canadian citizen. This season, which is also the last, he has to fight for a chance to become a permanent doctor at the hospital when his residency is over.
Tonight at 8p on NBC, Bashir (Hamza Haq), Mags (Laurence Leboeuf), and June (Ayisha Issa) have to work on a confused man and woman who were airlifted in after being found in the woods. The lower part of his leg was amputated, and she was unconscious. They need to find out what happened, but they aren’t really saying because they are out of it.
When the girl finally wakes up, she becomes violent and stabs Bashir. If that is not for them to deal with, Bashir and Mags will find out that only one of them will be hired.
Now, the two of them, who no longer heart each other, are going to compete for that job. Talking about hearts, Mags finds out she was accepted to the heart transplant list. Will she accept it?
At 9p, there is a second episode. Bashir risks his life once again to save a man who was swallowed up by a sinkhole. While Mags has to deal with an intern who won’t leave her alone.
Even if you haven’t watched the first three seasons, you can still watch Transplant because Canadians do a better job with medical shows than their neighbors down south.
