Tonight at 10p on NBC, Timeless goes back to old Hollywood. How old? They are there to save Citizen Kane, old.
Back in the early 1940’s, Citizen Kane was the most talked about movie, and it was not even out yet. It might not ever come out, unless Lucy Preston (Abigail Spencer), Rufus Carlin (Malcolm Barrett) and Wyatt Logan (Matt Lanter) can get their hands on the only original copy of the film before Rittenhouse gets their hands on it.
Will they be able to do it? They will have some help from Hedy Lamarr and you will most likely learn something about the legendary actress I did not even know about her. Now that they know that they can change history, they might use her to do it. But it is for our good and not Rittenhouse’s.
Also our time travelers have to pose as Hollywood types and Lucy is an actress/singer who performs a number for the big shots. While Rufus pitches something from today to the studio head back then.
History will also change for one of time travelers as someone we thought was gone, is not. How did that happen?
I am so loving the changes they made to Timeless this season and cannot wait to see what they else they do to change things up.
BTW next week they go back to the Salem Witch Trials and you will never guess who they have to save and why Rittenhouse wants that person dead. But I have said to much.
