Nicole Kidman and Resse Witherspoon worked together on Big Little Lies, and they hang out in Nashville. So Vanity Fair asked the Oscar winners to interview each other.
It was a lot of hearing them annoyingly praise each other. But there is one thing Kidman hates about her co-star. And that thing is that she only calls Laura Dern by her last name.
Why does Witherspoon do that? “Cause my name is Laura. And her name is Laura. And it is confusing for me,” she explained. “My name is Laura Jeanne.”
Then Kidman pointed out that Dern calls her Reese. And she was like it is still weird.
I get it. I hate calling people by my first name too. But I still do it because I am not a bitch.
