Jacob O’Brien, 10, was at his grandmother’s house in the Detroit area with his 2-year-old brother Dylan, when he noticed the screen door to the pool was open. Jacob looked outside and saw his brother lying face down in the pool. The big brother got his baby bro out of the water and started doing compressions on him like The Rock did to his movie daughter in San Andreas. It was that technique that saved his little brother’s life.
When Dwayne Johnson heard the story, he took to Instagram to tell the real life hero that he was flying the O’Brien family to the set of Skyscraper in Vancouver so that DJ can shake the little guy’s hand and give him a hug! Two heroes in one place. Forget The Avengers and Justice League, this is the superhero movie I want to see.
That is why I love DJ, he is always there for his fans. So many actors would read this story and movie, but The Rock. He is going to make that kid’s day super special and the little guy deserves to be treated like the Superman that he is.
When it comes to Dylan, according to WXYZ he was released from the hospital the next day and he is already back in the pool swimming up a storm.
