Dancing with the Stars 8 hasn't even started, but it already has lost one of its contestants to the DWTS curse. According to
Marc Malkin Jewel is out and Holly Madison is in. Jewel recently announced that she was suffering from tendonitis in the knees from DWTS, but said the show would go on with her. Now comes word, it won't and the first husband and wife to compete against each other is not going to happen. I can't say I care that she is gone! The good news is that she left early enough so that So You Think You Can Dance's Dmitry can stay in the competition, but hopefully not in his shirt!! ABC has no comment.
BTW Jewel isn't the only one suffering from tendonitis of a body part, Gilles Marini has it in his groin area. Who knew Dancing with the Stars was so dangerous to your health?
