The good news is that The Conners will be back for a seventh season. The bad news is that the Roseanne sequel will be ending after a shortened season. According to Variety, it might only be six episodes.

The Conners is ABC’s highest-rated sitcom, but it is also probably very expensive to produce due to John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, and Sara Gilbert’s salaries.

I cannot say that I ever watched it more than the first episode of the pre-Roseanne departure, and I found it tired back then. Never felt compelled to watch it again.
