[ # ] Selfie made a Renee Zellweger joke just hours after her face broke!
October 22nd, 2014 under ABC, Renee Zellweger

The big story yesterday was how different Renee Zellweger looks and Selfie already had a joke about it. That’s right, ABC’s best new fall comedy, predicted what the joke of the day was going to be weeks before anyone else did.
Eliza (Karen Gillan) went over to Charmonique’s (Da’Vine Joy Randolph) house to help her get ready for her high school reunion, and the phone addict had some sage advice for her friend who was thinking of looking radically different for the big event. She said, “I understand that instinct. But when you completely reinvent your look, you run the risk of people not knowing who the hell you are, i.e. Renee Zellweger, who still looks good.” Then Charmonique added, “But doesn’t look a damn thing like Miss Renee Zellweger. I see what you mean.”
Who knew the writers of this genius show were psychic. We knew they had their finger on the social media pulse, but who knew they would know what the big story of the day would be before even the day knew what it was going to be? Kind of Nostradamusy.
And that, is why, you need to be watching this show, so that you know what is going to happen before it even happens. Well after, but you know what I mean.
Seriously, you should be watching this sitcom because it is sweet, funny and so relatable. The Voice is been there, seen that, same with NCIS, so why not try something new and exciting like Selfie on Tuesdays at 8p. I promise you will love it as much as Eliza Dooley loves herself.
And talking about loving herself, People had a face to face chat with Renee Zellweger. To read what she said, then
She told People, “I’m glad folks think I look different! I’m living a different, happy, more fulfilling life, and I’m thrilled that perhaps it shows.” Then she explained, “For a long time I wasn’t doing such a good job with that. I took on a schedule that is not realistically sustainable and didn’t allow for taking care of myself. Rather than stopping to recalibrate, I kept running until I was depleted and made bad choices about how to conceal the exhaustion. I was aware of the chaos and finally chose different things.” She concluded with, “Perhaps I look different. Who doesn’t as they get older?! Ha. But I am different. I’m happy.” So there you have it folks, she got the happy done to her face and that is why she looks different.
