The Not Ready for Primetime Players are jumping ship because Saturday Night Live lost its 8th person since May.

First, Kate McKinnon, Aidy Bryant, Kyle Mooney, and Pete Davidson announced their departures during the season finale. Then came Alex Moffat, Melissa Villaseñor, and Aristotle Athari. And now, Chris Redd is joining them by leaving the late night variety show.

“Being a part of SNL has been the experience of a lifetime,” Redd said in a statement. “Five years ago, I walked into 30 Rock knowing that this was an amazing opportunity for growth. Now, with friends who have become family and memories I will cherish forever, I’m grateful to Lorne Michaels and to the entire SNL organization. From the bottom of my heart, I can’t thank you all enough.”

You have to wonder, who’s next? Hopefully, it won’t be Kenan Thompson who needs to stay until the series ends.

The news isn’t all bad at 30 Rock, they added Marcello Hernandez, Molly Kearney, Michael Longfellow, and Devon Walker to the lineup.

SNL will be back with all-new episodes on October 1st.

UPDATE: SNL announced who will be hosting the first three episodes of the season, and who the musical guests will be.

Oct. 1 – Miles Teller / Kendrick Lamar
Oct. 8 – Brendan Gleeson / Willow
Oct. 15 – Megan Thee Stallion / Megan Thee Stallion
