Last week,
Rose McGowan posted a casting note that asks for the actresses to show up in tight low-cut shirts and pushup bras, and yesterday she said her acting agent fired her. Actually, what she Tweeted was, “I just got fired by my wussy acting agent because I spoke up about the bullshit in Hollywood. Hahaha. #douchebags #awesome #BRINGIT.”
You can’t blame the acting agent for firing her. First off, they probably got an earful from the casting agent because of what McGowan posted. If she was a client that was booking all the time, then the agent would have kept her. But what else has she been doing besides collecting residuals from Charmed? I can’t remember the last time I saw her in something, do you?
When it comes to the note, welcome to Hollywood. Yes, the agent asked for it, but if you go to casting calls, then you will see a lot actresses who are already dressed like that. Plus, when did she become so prudish? For the most part, whenever you see her she is wearing low-cut tops. So to me she sounds hypocritical.
I assume the reason why she went forward with that casting note, is she was probably upset she was not up for a lead in a Madam Panhandler film.
What do you think of it all?
