William Schallert passed away yesterday at the age of 93 according to The Hollywood Reporter. He started acting in 1949 and since then has been in hundreds of television show like Star Trek, The New Gidget, True Blood and How I Met Your Mother. The one he is most known for is The Patty Duke Show where he played her dad and now he joins the star of it in heaven just weeks after she passed away. Like her, he was also President of the Screen Actors Guild. He is the third SAG President to die in as many months.
