Ricky Gervais’ standup is full of jokes that most people wouldn’t tell for obvious reasons. Yet, most of the time, he can get away with it.
So why does he say offensive things? He wrote, “People think I say offensive things purely for the joy of upsetting people. This is not the case. I do it for the money.”
At least he is honest. But then again, he made a movie about The Invention of Lying. So, who knows?
