Last week, The Good Doctor’s
Richard Schiff and his real and TV wife,
Sheila Kelley, announced that they both tested positive for COVID-19 on Election Day. Today, they both gave an update on his condition because it took a turn for the worse.
“Thank you all for so much love and support. You’re making it so much easier for @thesheilakelley and me,” the 65-year-olf actor wrote, “I am in the hospital on Remdesivir, O2 and steroids showing some improvement every day. Sheila is home and doing better but still fairly ill. Love you all.” Since he is Tweeting from his hospital bed, it would seem that he is improving.
While Kelley wrote, “The last 72 hours have been tough. LOML @therichardschiff is now in the hospital on oxygen and remdesivir. Thank you all of you for the prayers and love. We feel them. He’s doing better. Getting stronger.”
Let’s hope he is better soon and back filming the ABC medical drama with the love of his life. When it comes to the show, Deadline says that production remains in full effect and they are working around their absences.
