I have always wondered what was the first video that was ever posted on YouTube and now thanks to OMG Facts I know and you can know too. Here is what co-founder Jawed Karim said with it, “The first video on YouTube, uploaded at 8:27PM on Saturday April 23rd, 2005. The video was shot by Yakov Lapitsky at the San Diego Zoo.”
It is amazing how far YouTube has come in just six years. Especially after watching that video that was only :18 long. In Hebrew 18 is chai which means life and it is amazing the video was that length because YouTube has definitely taken on a life of its own.
