Melissa Sue Anderson who is best known as Mary, the oldest Ingalls sibling on Little House on the Prairie who went blind midway through the series. The 47 year old actress has written a book called The Way I See It: A Look Back at My Life on Little House that is out now and according to the interview that she did on The Today Show it doesn’t sound like it is all sugary sweet as you would think it would be. Which means I so want to read her book!
BTW how beautiful does she look. Age has definitely been nice to her!!!
One last note, Anderson is not the only actress releasing a book about her time on the Prairie. Alison Arngrim, who played the b!tchy but lovable Nellie Oleson, wrote Confessions of a Prairie Bitch: How I Survived Nellie Oleson and Learned to Love Being Hated that is coming out on June 15th! Let me tell you if there is anyone’s book from the show I want to read it is Alison Arngrim’s. She was my absolute favorite on the show, and when I grew up I so wanted to be her. Hopefully on some of the posts I have written I have captured her b!tchy essence! Oh and BTW age has also been very nice to Miss Nellie Oleson!
