Eric Beaumont (Luke Roberts) owns a negotiation company that knows how to get anyone out of hostage situation.
On tonight’s season premiere, Maxine (Sarah Green) is turned down for a job at the company, and she won’t take no for an answer. When she hears there is a hostage situation going on, she steals a business card and worms her way on to the scene. Once she is up there, her knowledge of languages helps Beaumont come up with a way to stop the hostage taker before he hurts anyone. A plan that works, and everyone gets out of there alive.
Even though Beaumont’s team doesn’t trust Maxine, he does. That is why he brings her on to his next case. A family gets a call that someone has their son who has been missing for several years. All the kidnappers want is $5 million from the family. Now, it is up for them to get the kid back before it is too late.
