Chihards, the night you have been waiting for all summer is finally here. Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago PD are back with all new episodes starting at 8p tonight on NBC. And there are new faces joining each of the shows.

Chicago Med starts things off with the news that Gaffney Medical Center is closing, which means that Chicago Med’s ED will be getting their patients.

Not only will they be getting their patients, but the ED is also getting Dr. Frost (Darren Barnet). He is a young physician with a heart who cares about his patients. His good looks will help him get what he needs for them.

While he is friendly, Dr. Caitlin Lenox (Sarah Ramos) is not. She runs the ED like back when she was in the military. Tonight, she clashes with Dr. Archer (Steven Weber) over firing one of the doctors.

They need all hands on deck after a commuter boat crashes and several casualties are brought to the ED.

I am not looking forward to Lenox’s character because it is the same story we have seen on ER, House, Chicago Med, The Resident, and so on, the mean doctor that everyone hates who will leave by the end of the season for a better job.

But I do love Dr. Frost because I want more caring doctors like we had on New Amsterdam. Plus, the Never Have I Ever star is easy on the eyes.

At 9p, Chief Boden is gone, and in is Dermot Mulroney as Dom Pascal, the new Chief of Firehouse 51. He is joining the station from Miami. Something happened to him there, and that is why he moved back to Chicago. We don’t know what it is, but it seems ominous.

He is going to change things up at the stationhouse, and not everyone likes it. Will they give him a chance, or are they going to rebel? We will have to tune in every week to find out.

I hope they stick with him because I don’t want to be going through chiefs every few episodes.

When it comes to Chicgo PD, sorry I don’t watch it.
