Almost every year on April Fool’s Day, Jimmy Kimmel pranks his sweet, innocent, lovely Aunt Chippy and this year was no different.
I became a fan of the ABC show when he hired Spanish-only speaking painters to paint her white Las Vegas house bright orange and green without her knowing about it. When she came home and saw what they were doing, she went all Brooklyn on them. They are lucky they got out of there alive.
Since then he has kept doing mean things to her whether it is on April 1st or not. Some funnier than others and others are much more cruel. This year falls into the latter.
Aunt Chippy’s car needs a lot of work done to it, so he bought her new automobile as a present. Sweet, not yet. He sent his cousin Sal to her house to show us what was inside while she was at the studio with her nephew in Vegas. What was in her very clean living room? Her new car!
How did she react? She did not go all Brooklyn on him while the cameras were on, but I am sure when there were off, she ripped him a new one like her other nephew was doing in her home. Poor Aunt Chippy.
