Dance star and choreographer Michael Flatley is in hospital suffering from a "serious illness", his official website said. His show "Celtic Tiger" has cancelled all of its European concert dates, a statement on his website read. "Celtic Tiger Touring Inc. has cancelled all European dates for Celtic Tiger starring Michael Flatley due to serious illness. Michael Flatley remains in hospital and unavailable for comment," the statement said. The Chicago-born Flatley was the force behind the hit show "Lord of the Dance", which mixed Irish step-dancing with elements of tap, ballet and flamenco to a rock-influenced score. According to Britain’s domestic Press Association (PA), Flatley first attended the hospital in London where he is at now two weeks ago. His wife Niamh O’Brien, a fellow member of his "Celtic Tiger" troupe, is with him there, PA said, citing a source close to Flatley. He had been due to embark on his tour, which included trips to Switzerland and Germany, this week.

That does not sound good. I hope he gets better soon.
