Melissa Rauch might play a mother on The Big Bang Theory, but in real life it has been a tough journey to becoming one. The actress, who is days away from filming the upcoming season of The Big Bang Theory, announced in
Glamour magazine that she is expecting her first child this Fall with her husband Winston Beigel after suffering a miscarriage.
She wrote her own birth announcement as, “She is extremely overjoyed, but if she’s being honest, due to the fact that she had a miscarriage the last time she was pregnant, she’s pretty much terrified at the moment that it will happen again. She feels weird even announcing this at all, and would rather wait until her child heads off to college to tell anyone, but she figures she should probably share this news before someone sees her waddling around with her mid-section protruding and announces it first.”
No word if her character Bernadette will be pregnant with baby number 2, but CBS like us sends her their congrats.
BTW am I the only one who is picturing how her and her husband made the baby, as in just like her most epic sex scene in The Bronze. If you have never seen it, it is a drop everything now and watch it.
On a serious note, I suggest that everyone read her heartfelt article in Glamour on her road to motherhood that included infertility and a miscarriage. It is a powerful read that explains why we should not ask married women when they are going to be birthing some babies.
