Matthew Gray Gubler might be coming back to CBS, and it would be a briliant move for all if it were to happen.
The Criminal Minds fan favorite has been tapped to play Albert Einstein’s great-grandson, Lew, in the pilot for the procedural Einstein by the people who brought us Monk.
According to Deadline, the potential series is about: In it, brilliant but directionless, the great-grandson of Albert Einstein (Gubler) spends his days as a comfortably tenured professor until his bad boy antics land him in trouble with the law and he is pressed into service helping a local police detective solve her most puzzling cases.
I hope the pilot turns out to be so good that CBS picks it up to series and pairs it with Matlock.
