Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie were on The Tonight Show yesterday and Jimmy Fallon challenged them to a game of Pop Quiz. Basically the NBC late night host asked them a bunch of pop culture questions and for every answer they got wrong, Fallon would raise their chair. The goal is to get as many answers right, so your chair doesn’t reach balloon full of water. If it does, down comes a lot of water all over the loser.
The Today hosts might know where Iraq is on a map, but Savannah doesn’t know the name of the younger sister in Frozen and Matt can’t remember who played Ferris Bueller’s sister in the ’80s movie. So while they can tell you who won the elections yesterday, they don’t know the simple things like what is the name of Taylor Swift’s latest #1 album. And to me that is so much more important.
Anyways, Matt knows less that the new mom, so he got a much needed soaking. The best part is we got to watch it happen in slow-mo and what more can you ask for you to start your day.
