Mark Ballas has been dancing on and off with Dancing with the Stars for 15 years. But his time with the dancing competition series has come to an end, according to People.
The dancer announced at the end of the DWTS tour this was it for him. “I’m not saying this is the end, [but] this is the last time I will be dancing with a [celebrity] partner,” he said. “And I wanted to finish this with Charli [D’Amelo], and I appreciate you guys so much. I wanna do this freestyle for you one more time. Thank you for everything. I appreciate it.”
Ballas and D’Amelio won the Mirrorball trophy this season, so their win feels like even more of a fix. I mean, she is a professional dancer that worked for Ballas’ friend Derek Hough, who was a judge on the show this season. And the series needed one of their more famous pros to return for their first season on Disney+ to generate buzz. So it was a match made to win.
Ballas competed on 20 seasons and won three times with Kristi Yamaguchi, Shawn Johnson, and D’Amelio.
Are you going to miss him? Because I never did.
