Chris Lea was going live from a high school in East Bend, NC, where some of the cheerleaders were having a touch toe competition. Well, the traffic reporter decided to challenge one of the girls to see who could do a better touch toe. Even though his co-reporter warned him not to split his pants, he still decided to do it. So he jumped up in the air, legs apart and then you heard it. His pants ripped open from crotch to crack and thankfully he had underwear on. Who am I kidding, it would’ve been even better if he wasn’t wearing and his handheld mic made an appearance.
Back back to the split, his reaction to his pants being ripped open was classic! And that is why we love this liveshot so much.
And let’s be real, we are all also tipping out hats to him because he did a way better touch toe than the cheerleader.
