Back in 2010, LeBron James left the Cleveland Cavaliers for the Miami Heat. He stayed with Miami for 4 years and then he went to back to Cavs. Well, he got that 4-year itch again because today he turned down a $35.6 million contract from the team to become a free agent according to the AP.
If I were a basketball owner, then I would say screw him. I would not sign him. But considering how many times he has been to the championships. You cannot blame them for making him an offer he cannot refuse. It will be interesting to see how high it goes.
Whichever team signs the 33-year-old, the fans should expect to pay a lot more for their seats because who is going to pay for his ginormous salary? They are.
