Jose Canseco was cleaning, what he thought was an empty, gun today when it accidentally went off. His fiancée Leila Knight told
The Los Angeles Times, “I heard the gun go off and saw his middle finger hanging by a string.â€
The baseball legend is currently in surgery to save finger, but as of now they don’t know if they will be able to. His fiancée said that the doctors already told the couple that he will never have full use of his hand again.

Jose Canseco captioned it by saying he was teaching Knight and his daughter gun safety and protection. Sadly, today they all got a big lesson, to always make sure there are no bullets in the gun when you are cleaning it.
