Adele was recently on Saturday Night Live and a lot of big named celebrities came out see her perform. Jonah Hill brought his younger sister with him because she is a big fan. When they went out to see her sing Hello, he stood next to Bradley Cooper. Then he saw that J.J. Abrams was there too. Since Cooper worked on Alias with the director, the Elephant Man introduced the two men. Instead of Hill shaking his hand, the 21 Jump Street actor told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, “I don’t know what the hell I was thinking, and I just give J.J. Abrams a giant t!tty Twister.”
When the NBC late host asked him why, he said, “Cause I am stupid person, I don’t know how else to say it.” But Hill did try to explain that he was so moved by Adele’s performance and was in awe of Abrams work, so he felt like he knew him. Obviously, he felt like he knew him really well to twist his nipple in front of the Star Wars’ leader’s kids. To make it even worse for Hill.
Anyways the actor spent the night beating himself up and his friends said you send him an apology note. After several rewrites he did, and Abrams emailed him back. The Felicity creator wrote, “This is funny. Don’t even sweat it. Don’t beat yourself up.” How sweet!
But if I were Hill, I would never expect to be anything that Abrams does.
