Yesterday on The Tonight Show, The Ragtime Gals made a triumphant return to the late night talk show to sing Salt-N-Pepa’s Push It in their style of music, which is Barbershop Quartet.
The four men, who were lead by Jimmy Fallon, sounded swell. I just have one question, do they know what the song means? I can still remember when my dad, who was a Fallon fan, told me what it meant. I am still scarred because no one wants to hear that from their father. Anyways, if he was still alive, I would tell him to school them on the meaning of that tune. Because then I would wonder if they would still be singing it with such a big smile on their faces. But then again, they might be into that sort of thing…
