Today is Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s second wedding anniversary of their traditional wedding in Georgia.
So what did the bride give her husband for the celebration? Something he really wants. She filed for divorce.
According to TMZ, she filed without a lawyer and said their date of separation was April 26th.
The site also says that it looks like that they do not have a prenup. That means Affleck will have to give up more of his wealth to her than the other way around. He had some successful movies like Air and The Instigators. In contrast, her career saw failed movies, an album, and a cancelled tour.
Luckily, she said that neither she nor he could ask for spousal support.
Even though the couple has five children between them, they are from previous marriages, hers to Mark Anthony and his to Jennifer Garner. I feel for his children Violet, Seraphina, and Sam Affleck because they seem to be close to the singer. In fact, they have been seen with their estranged stepmother several times since the separation date.
This is her fourth marriage and his second.
It is also their second attempt at a relationship. Bennifer dated over 20 years ago and were even expected to get married in 2003. However, they called it off at the last minute. And finally broke up the following year.
The estranged couple reunited in 2021 after she broke off her engagement to Alex Rodriguez. They got engaged in 2022 and tied the knot in Vegas on July 16, 2022. They followed up that quickie wedding with a real one 35 days later.
The news does not come as a surprise because no one expected them to last.
I wonder who will be her fifth victim. A-Rod got lucky.
