Today is a great day for journalism and an awful day for Tucker Carlon and Don Lemon. That is because both of them have “parted ways” from their news networks today. Poor whiny babies.

Carlson was first: “FOX News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways. We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor.

“Mr. Carlson’s last program was Friday April 21st. Fox News Tonight will air live at 8 PM/ET starting this evening as an interim show helmed by rotating FOX News personalities until a new host is named.”

Although, we don’t know why he “parted ways” so drastically after 14 years. It is assumed that this is because of Fox News’s settlement last week with Dominion Voting Systems over the network suggesting that Dominion rigged the machines for Joe Biden to win. Carlson spread the lie, even though texts seemed to show that he didn’t believe what he was saying on the air.

Just when we started to come down from Cloud 9, Lemon took to social media to announce his firing. “I was informed this morning by my agent that I have been terminated by CNN. I am stunned. After 17 years at CNN I would have thought that someone in management would have had the decency to tell me directly. At no time was I ever given any indication that I would not be able to continue to do the work I have loved at the network. It is clear that there are some larger issues at play,” he wrote. “With that said, I want to thank my colleagues and the many teams I have worked with for an incredible run. They are the most talented journalists in the business, and I wish them all the best.”

2023 has not been a good year for him. He has had many claims made about being sexist, agist, and abusive to his fellow coworkers. It sounds like their investigation is over, and that is why his career at the network is done.

I would tell the men not to let the door hit them on the way out. However, neither one will be allowed back in the building to say goodbye.

So to quote a stewardess, “Buh bye! Buh bye! Buh bye!”
