Out of all of the burger chains, Carl’s Jr. has the most original hamburgers. And maybe also the most fattening ones.
You would think they would try to be a little healthier. But, nope. They upped the fat and calories, as in, they added a third patty to most famous burgers.
There are five triple burgers: The Famous Star®, a classic burger with American Cheese, lettuce and tomato. The Western Bacon Cheeseburger® featuring melted American Cheese, crispy onion rings and tangy BBQ sauce. The El Diablo, which features bacon, jalapeno POPPERS® bites, pepper jack cheese and jalapeno coins. The Guacamole Bacon with bacon, melted pepperjack cheese, lettuce and tomato. The Big Carl® burger featuring melted American, lettuce and classic sauce.
“Carl’s Jr. has always been bold and willing to push the limits, so why restrict our guests from getting more of what they love?” said Maripaz Romero, vice president of brand marketing. “With the beloved, craveable flavors of our core burgers, it’s only natural to introduce this triple patty threat, proving that at Carl’s Jr., you don’t have to sacrifice size for flavor.”
Just reading about all of those triple charbroiled burgers, I gained three pounds. And yet, I want to try one for real. Everything above the neck says, “Do it.” Everything below says, “Don’t even think about it.”
