Milo Ventimiglia has played a bad boy and the perfect father on TV, but he was contemplating doing a different role in real life.
Believe it or not. The actor considered running for Mayor of Los Angeles.
What? He has been trying to build a house for himself and his parents, but the bureaucracy to get it done in LA is a nightmare. So he told Jess Cagle, on his SiriusXM radio show, that he was considering being LA’s top politician to make it easier for people to renovate or build their homes.
But then he thought about how much time he would have to devote to the job, and that would mean he would have to give up his day job. And he is not ready to do that.
That, and he says he is not a politician. But he will help people in other ways. Like he has been trying to help those we lost in the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars, get a war memorial in DC.
So when he is ready to run for mayor, he will have my vote.
