Drew Barrymore and Hugh Grant starred in 2007’s Music and Lyrics, and both actors sang in the movie.
Recently when Grant was answering Wired’s Web’s Most Searched Questions, someone asked if that was him singing. He said that it was and that he was “autotuned beyond belief.”
Then Grant took back that statement, “Actually, that is not true. I am autotuned a bit, but not as much as some.” Then explained that Barrymore’s “singing is just horrendous. I mean, I’ve heard dogs bark better than she sings.”
However, he did say something positive about his co-star, “Once they tuned her up. She sounded way better than me because she’s got heart and voice and Rock’n’Roll.”
This has not been a good week for Grant and his mouth. First, he was trashed for a bad interview he had with Ashley Graham on the Oscars’ champagne carpet on Sunday. Where is Divine Brown when you need her?
And talking about divine. Wouldn’t it be divine if Grant was a guest on The Drew Barrymore Show and she talks to him about this? It would be even better if she sang for him without autotune!
