No one from the original We Are The World was asked to do the new one, so Huey Lewis recorded his own version of the song and debuted the music video on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night! OMG! That song was so freaking funny. I don’t know who had more fun with I Am The World, the writers for coming up with it or Huey Lewis for performing it. I think Huey because Jimmy Kimmel’s favorite singer looked great with the long black curly wig.
