Tim Allen is no stranger to bringing his former co-stars onto his current shows, and Shifting Gears is no different.
Allen cast his Galaxy Quest crew member Daryl “Chill” Mitchell in the sitcom as a series regular. Then he asked his wife from Home Improvement to guest star on season 1.
This season, Patricia Richardson will be back, and she is bringing some friends with her. Tool Time’s Richard Karn and Debbe Dunning are going to be fixing things for Allen’s character in the season premiere, according to Deadline.
Later on in the season, Allen’s wife, Nancy Travis, from Last Man Standing, will guest star for a second time.
Shifting Gears, which also stars Kat Dennings and Seann William Scott, returns with new episodes on ABC on October 1st.
