Yesterday at the end of Celebrity Apprentice Holly Robinson Peete’s team won the challenge and raised almost $350,000 for her charity HollyRod Foundation. Because Sharon Osbourne’s team raised over $130,000 of the total, she didn’t want her to go home (even though no one was eliminated!) empty handed so she vowed to donate to Sharon’s charity Sharon Osbourne Colon Cancer Program. Well after the West Coast show ended I saw that the 21 Jump Street star was still Tweeting, so I had to ask her how much she donated to her competitor and former-teammate’s charity and @hollyrpeete Tweeted me back this “50k!” Even though Holly comes off as a bitch on the show she really has a heart of gold and you have to respect her for staying true to her word and not keeping all the money. I can’t think of any other contestant who has done that in Celebrity Apprentice history and my hat is off to her. She has a fan in me for doing that and I hope she has done the same for you too!
BTW I also have to respect NBC for doing a special Get Well message to Bret Michaels after the show ended. I couldn’t find the video or I would’ve posted it, but it was really very nice.
Bret Michaels continues to need our prayers and here is the latest update that his manager Janna has posted on the Bret Michaels website:
Once again we can’t thank everyone enough for all the well wishes and prayers being sent Bret’s way!
As of now Bret remains in ICU under 24 hour surveillance. Further testing this week will help locate the source of the bleeding.

UPDATE ON BRET MICHAELS: At the NBC Press Day, Sharon Osbourne was here to talk about America’s Got Talent and of course she was asked about Bret Michaels. She said that she has been friends with him for 30 years and devastated by the news. After the panel, she talked to the reporters that gathered around her that she knows what we knows. She then said, “It is just hideous. It makes you feel all these different feelings. Your heart goes out to his family. Your heart goes out to him. He is the nicest guy in the world. Then you start thinking of your own mortality. It makes you appreciate how lucky we all are. I am sad about Bret.”
Please continue praying for Bret that they find the leak ASAP and he begins the road to recovery.
